| DIY Extension Lead |
This has been the extension lead we have had at work for I don't know how many years. It was made by Dad who was a very practical man unlike me. If it had been me I would have just bought one! He used the empty core of a reel of polypropylene strapping, and an old and very long lead. It was never easy to unwind or wind up, so I have been known to get a little frustrated with it. Today it was time to say goodbye to the reel, as I have brought over the "proper" extension lead from Mum's house to now use at work. Sad to see the old one go, as it was a little piece of Dad, but I think the time is right....
