The Crown at Pishill. A landmark place for me, as 32 years ago back in 1985 (I think) it was the location for my first ever complete memory loss blackout due to excesses of alcohol consumed. I had been to an 18th birthday party there, and the next morning the trendy black pvc tie I had been wearing was in two pieces! I couldn't remember a thing. This set the pattern for the next 12 or so years pretty much every Friday and Saturday night... However December 2017 will mark the 20th anniversary of the end of the days of heavy drinking. These days I struggle to have more than a couple of drinks, and I am a total lightweight. Talk about Jekyll and Hyde...
