| Mortgage Paid Off |
Today I had a letter to confirm that my mortgage has been paid off. This is totally down to a lifetime of hard work by my parents, and the recent sale of their house after the loss of Mum. So it's a kind of bittersweet feeling, as of course I would much rather they were still here. But I am now master of my own destiny. I own my house, and I have also got rid of the business overdraft, so the bank have no hold over me at all. It's a blank canvas for me, and hopefully with some happy times ahead...
