I took this photo just after 7.00am this morning when I got to work. The sun was just rising, and for the first time as we head towards winter I noticed that many trees are now without leaves. So this made for an almost silhouette type effect, and the black and white effect enhances that I think. The fact that it was also bitterly cold brought the sense of winter much closer. Roll on spring!
