| Sub Zero at Work |
Today I had planned to go to the famous Cliveden Estate situated just outside Maidenhead on my work travels. However the snow over the weekend had closed it yesterday, and unfortunately for me today it still opened late, and after I had gone past, so that will have to wait for another day hopefully.
I arrived at work at 7.00 in the dark, and the temperature was -4.5C, and it barely made it above freezing all day. I took this photo at lunchtime looking across the fields. A lovely scene, but still bitterly cold, and the frost was still really hard in the shade. I had popped in to my folks grave earlier, and that was rock solid too, so no chance of planting the daffodil bulbs.
