| Standing Stone at Ibstone |
Whenever I drive through Ibstone and past the cricket ground, I see this stone, and have always wondered what it is. Today I wandered over with my camera, and although I got a lovely photo of it, I still didn't know what it was. So I looked it up on the internet, and it's not an ancient stone as I thought it must be, but is in fact a stone that was placed there to mark the millennium, so a very recent addition to the landscape.
