| Rose for Mum |
This young rose was given to me as a Christmas present by my very good friends Howard and Debbie.I went to school with Howard and we have been great friends for over 35 years. Howard said that the rose is in memory of Mum who passed away from bowel cancer last August, which I thought was a quite lovely idea for a Christmas present. If you zoom in on the label the rose is called "Mum in a million - Hybrid Tea." As you can see it has already been planted and I am eagerly awaiting to see it grow and develop over the coming months. By coincidence Mum absolutely loved her roses so this is very apt.
